On Sunday: 1.25m. 1st place riding Atomic Du Bary, winning by 9 seconds and 1st place in CSIOP Grand Prix riding Gangnam Style II. It was a fast jump off with Kyle winning by 0.39 of a second from the French rider, Claire De Douville.
The penultimate day of show saw the
Nations Cup competition take place and GB came second just one fence behind the winners, Belgium.
Kyle riding 13 year-old bay gelding Gangnam Style, owned by TJ Hall Limited, rolled an early pole and an unfortunate foot in the water in the first round, completing on 8 faults. Their second rounds saw them lower the very last pole to finish on 4 faults.
Izabella Rogers produced two faultless rounds to finish with a double clear, Madison Seedhouse had four faults in each round, and Poppy Deakin, had a clear round and one with four faults.
Afterwards Kyle said: “I have had an incredible finish to an amazing show. It’s such an honour to represent your country and be a part of Team GBR.
“I feel so lucky to ride such brilliant ponies, both owned by Su and Gordon Hall and I cannot thank my whole team at home and at shows enough for helping to make this happen.”
She now heads to Lamprechtshausen in Austria for an event on May 5-8.
