Multiple Title Success In Fontainebleau

• Tabitha Kyle in action in Fontainebleau in France.RISING equestrian star Tabitha Kyle produced a fantastic series of rides at the CSIO Youth Show at Fontainebleau, France, with multiple individual successes and helping GB to second place in the Nations Cup.

The 14-year-old from Wymeswold won every other individual class that she entered over the four days culminating in winning the CSIOP Grand Prix on Gangnam Style II.
On Thursday: 1.25m class, 1st place riding Atomic Du Bary winning the jump off by 11 seconds and placing 4th riding Gangnam Style II
On Friday: 1.30m, 1st place riding Atomic Du Bary
On Sunday: 1.25m. 1st place riding Atomic Du Bary, winning by 9 seconds and 1st place in CSIOP Grand Prix riding Gangnam Style II. It was a fast jump off with Kyle winning by 0.39 of a second from the French rider, Claire De Douville.
The penultimate day of show saw the
Nations Cup competition take place and GB came second just one fence behind the winners, Belgium.
Kyle riding 13 year-old bay gelding Gangnam Style, owned by TJ Hall Limited, rolled an early pole and an unfortunate foot in the water in the first round, completing on 8 faults. Their second rounds saw them lower the very last pole to finish on 4 faults.
Izabella Rogers produced two faultless rounds to finish with a double clear, Madison Seedhouse had four faults in each round, and Poppy Deakin, had a clear round and one with four faults.
Afterwards Kyle said: “I have had an incredible finish to an amazing show. It’s such an honour to represent your country and be a part of Team GBR.
“I feel so lucky to ride such brilliant ponies, both owned by Su and Gordon Hall and I cannot thank my whole team at home and at shows enough for helping to make this happen.”
She now heads to Lamprechtshausen in Austria for an event on May 5-8.
